We are happy to announce four new Ling 375 students: Malieka, Jasmine, Kylee, and Rupi. Please make them feel welcome as they begin their training in the lab.
The final day for student research participation is December 7, 2016. Researchers will be able to post timeslots after this date, however, students who sign up will not receive credits for participating.
We’re excited to announce our next CCP meeting presenter, Dr. Lynn McQuarrie. An associate professor in the department of Educational Psychology at the University of Alberta, Dr. McQuarrie investigates factors that affect language and literacy outcomes for deaf and hard of hearing learners and how sign language (ASL) as L1 facilitates learning a spoken/written language (English) as L2. All are welcome to attend the meeting on Friday, November 25 at 1:00 in Arts and Convocation Hall room 103.
